The UNLV football team takes the field with heavy hearts after the mass shooting on Oct. 1 that took the lives of 58 people and left over 400 injured.

With that, the team will enter Sam Boyd Stadium with their heart on their sleeves and a commemorative ribbon on their helmets.

An American flag was also raised outside of Sam Boyd Stadium prior to tonight's game against San Diego State in remeberance of one of the city's most tragic events.

The Rebels are just one of many organizations to pay tribute to those impacted by the horrible events at Route 91 and will continue to show the community that they are #VegasStrong.
