Before the Raiders play their first game in Las Vegas, they might spend a couple seasons in San Antonio, Texas.

Raiders owner Mark Davis has said he wants to stay in Oakland until the stadium is ready in Las Vegas.

But Oakland officials want the Raiders gone after this week's vote to move.

NFL insider Jason La Canfora says San Antonio's Alamodome is a possible temporary venue for the Raiders while Sam Boyd Stadium in Las Vegas has been suggested as another option.

The Raiders have made no comment on San Antonio or Sam Boyd Stadium as possible temporary homes.

Sam Boyd opened in 1971 and has a capacity of 40,000.

That is well below the Raiders' current venue in Oakland, which holds 63,000.

The Alamodome holds 72,000 and has the added advantage of hosting NFL games in the past.
