Vegas Golden Knights season ticket members now have access to an exclusive ticket presale for the NHL Awards™ and NHL Expansion Draft™ event beginning April 28 and continuing through 10 p.m. PT May 2.
The announcement was made Friday morning by Vegas Golden Knights Chairman and CEO Bill Foley.
Tickets for the event range from $15 - $30 (before service fees). Following the conclusion of the exclusive presale, tickets will become available for purchase by the general public beginning May 3 at 10 a.m. PT.
The NHL Awards™ and NHL Expansion Draft™ event will be held June 21 at T-Mobile Arena at 4:30 p.m. PT. During the event, the Golden Knights will select one expansion draft-eligible player from each of the other 30 NHL clubs. These selections will be announced throughout the televised portion.
Following the conclusion of the televised portion of the NHL Awards™ and NHL Expansion Draft™ event, fans in attendance will enjoy a special Expansion Draft recap and celebration event at T-Mobile Arena featuring Golden Knights Chairman and CEO Bill Foley, hockey operations personnel, select Golden Knights players and other Golden Knights front office staff. This will be the first opportunity for Golden Knights fans to hear directly from the newly drafted Golden Knights players in person. The 2017 NHL Awards™ will showcase hockey and Hollywood’s biggest stars with the excitement and energy that only Las Vegas can provide. As part of the program, the Golden Knights’ 30 selections in the NHL Expansion Draft™ will be revealed, providing the home fans – and national viewing audience – the opportunity to learn the initial composition of the team’s roster.
The 2017 NHL Awards™ will again honor the top individual regular-season performances in a wide range of categories, including most valuable player (Hart Trophy), outstanding goaltender (Vezina Trophy), outstanding defenseman (Norris Trophy) and outstanding rookie (Calder Trophy).
