Bryce Harper appears in first All-Star Game
Las Vegas, NV (KTNV) -- Las Vegas local Bryce Harper made history last night in his first All-Star Game.
The baseball phenom became the youngest player to participated in the mid-summer classic.
And, his team pulled out a big win. The National League stomped the American League 8 to 0.
For Harper though, it was a less than memorable game.
In his first at bat, he walked and took second base on a fly ball to left field. But, he got caught in a run down on a ground ball back to the pitcher.
And then he lost a fly ball in the lights and it dropped right behind him. He also struck out in his second and final time at bat.
The National League win means that the National League team will get home field advantage in the World Series.
