County Commissioners and representatives from Aid for AIDS of Nevada (AFAN) turned the “Welcome to Fabulous Las Vegas” sign red for World AIDS Day on Monday.
“Today our community comes together to show support for our fellow Southern Nevadans who are living with HIV/AIDs,” Commissioner Lawrence Weekly said. “Today is also a reminder to all of us that our fight against this disease is far from over.”
