Walmart is offering nonprofits up to $200,000 to fight hunger in Nevada.

The grant money is available for local charities with hunger relief programs. These include food pantries, backpack programs, SNAP outreach, and more. Applicants must have a current 501(c)(3) tax-exempt status.

Walmart and the Walmart Foundation committed to providing four billion meals between 2015 and 2020 to those who need it most. In 2016, the company and the foundation helped local communities with $15.7 million in cash and in-kind donations to Nevada nonprofits, along with 8.3 million pounds of food.
