While it might be nearly six months until Christmas, one group prepared for the holiday in June.
In an event Saturday in Boulder City, Continental Societies public service organization designed and created large holiday displays for the children of St. Jude's Ranch for Children. It is ahead of the ranch's Night of Lights event in December.
Continental Societies members painted gingerbread boys, girls and houses and built a 6-foot snowman, among other holiday decor.
