Piero's Italian Cuisine continued its annual tradition on Thanksgiving Day and served approximately 1,200 meals to those who may not have had a Thanksgiving dinner this year.

The restaurant hosted both children and adults who are served by After-School All-Stars Las Vegas, Catholic Charities of Southern Nevada, The Patrick Kelley Youth Foundation and The Boys and Girls Club of Southern Nevada.

Chefs and employees at Piero's prepared 400 pounds of turkey, 1,100 pounds of potatoes, 2,000 rolls, 300 pies and more.

The meal is served by dozens of the restaurant’s loyal patrons – long-time local Las Vegans and their families who frequently dine at Piero’s and have established a family tradition of giving back by serving Thanksgiving dinner each year. Piero’s has hosted the Turkey Gobble for more than two decades, and for many of these families, their children and grandchildren have grown up doing this each Thanksgiving Day.

Piero’s is the major financial underwriter of this event.  Several of the restaurant’s loyal customers also graciously donate to help offset the costs of the dinner – in addition to serving as wait and support staff that day.
