Throughout 2016, NV Energy and the NV Energy Foundation donated more than $5.4 million to Nevada nonprofits.
The money helped 335 organizations tackle a variety of issues ranging from education, medical research, community outreach, research, public broadcasting, and more.
NV Energy employees also volunteered a combined 37,500 hours, equating to nearly $900,000 in labor.
