Girl Scouts fall recruitment underway

Girl Scouts of Southern Nevada has launched its fall recruitment campaign to engage new volunteers and introduce more girls to scouting.

GSSNV offers many programs and activities to help girls discover their values, connect them with others and take action to make a difference in the world. Girls can earn badges for everything from first aid and camping, to financial literacy and STEM activities.GSSNV mission is to build courage, confidence and character in girls ages 5 to 17.

Girl scouting prepares girls to be future leaders in business and public service. According to Girl Scouts of the United States of America, 80 percent of female entrepreneurs and 60 percent of current female senators are Girl Scout alumnae.
