All Backstreet Boys tickets donated for the promotion have already been claimed. The Backstreet Boys and Live Nation donated more than 250 tickets in support of The Animal Foundation.
For those still wishing to make a donation to The Animal Foundation on June 23 or June 24, Live Nation will provide tickets to see Pitbull at The AXIS at Planet Hollywood hotel-casino during select performances in July 2017 and August 2017. Donate a $100 or more gift card to Petco or PetSmart (with proof of receipt), limit two tickets per person.

Donate to help needy animals and get tickets to see the Backstreet Boys.
The Backstreet Boys have announced a special promotion with The Animal Foundation. On June 23 and June 24, when people make a donation of a Petco or PetSmart gift card of $100 or more to The Animal Foundation, they will receive a pair of tickets to see “Backstreet Boys: Larger Than Life” at one of their performance dates in November 2017 or February 2018.
The dates were announced earlier this month for their residency at The AXIS theater at Planet Hollywood hotel-casino.
Backstreet Boys Kevin Richardson, Nick Carter, Brian Littrell and AJ McLean talked with 13 Action News about the promotion Wednesday, accompanied by two dogs currently at the Animal Foundation. Fellow member Howie Dorough was not part of the interview since his son is highly allergic to dogs. But they all love animals with at least some of their pets coming from shelters.
"We love animals. We love pets. We're residents of Las Vegas right now and we want to help support the animal community and the community," Richardson said. "We want to give back. During the hottest months of the year, Las Vegas, Nevada, has the largest intake of rescues and dogs into their shelter and want to support The Animal Foundation."
Donated gift cards will go toward the animals currently staying at The Animal Foundation and help with needed supplies. Gift cards must be from either Petco or PetSmart and accompanied by a receipt with proof of how much the card is worth.
The promotion also coincides with the busiest time of year for The Animal Foundation and Chief Finance and Development Officer Daniel Neel said it's "very timely."
"Having the Backstreet Boys support us in this way just brings a heightened awareness to our lifesaving mission at The Animal Foundation and so it will bring more people down to the shelter," he said. "Come on down and get the free tickets but also check out the shelter."
Donations can be made at the Lied Animal Shelter located at 655 N. Mojave Road, Las Vegas, between 11 a.m. and 7 p.m. June 23 and June 24.
Individuals donating gift cards will receive two tickets, valued at more than $100, to see the Backstreet Boys.
The band's Las Vegas residency began in March and the Backstreet Boys have enjoyed their time in Las Vegas so far.
"We've had so much fun here. This has been an incredible experience," Carter said. "It's breathed new life into the Backstreet Boys. This is an opportunity for us to perform on the world's biggest stage here in Las Vegas."
The Backstreet Boys first formed 24 years ago. They're working on a new studio album set to come out next year, in addition to their residency and philanthropy in the community.
"We've been so fortunate, so blessed for the past 24 years to be given so much love and so much to our career and to ourselves that we always try to give on back to our fans and give back to the community whether local or abroad," McLean said. "You know any type of charity that we can get our hands on, we're always trying to help out."
