Boys & Girls Clubs of Southern Nevada (BGCSNV) is now accepting basketball league sign-ups for children and coaches.

Boy’s recreational basketball league sign-ups for ages five to twelve years old are currently available at six locations across the Las Vegas Valley: the Lied Memorial Clubhouse, Southern Highlands Clubhouse, Donald W. Reynolds Clubhouse, John C. Kish Clubhouse, Andre Agassi Clubhouse, and James Boys & Girls Clubhouse.

Mark Jacoby, 20 year employee and Area Director for BGCSNV is heading the sports programs that impact over 400 youth across Southern Nevada. Jacoby says “The leagues have been going great, we just finished up flag football and soccer, and basketball was so popular that the kids cannot wait for this season.”

Practices start the second week of December, and the season sign-ups close December 8 with games starting the second week of January. Games are Mondays thru Thursdays and some Saturdays.

Prices start from $65 and the fee includes a 2016 membership to Boys & Girls Clubs, practice and game schedules and team jerseys. The league fees are used to maintain the facilities and gymnasiums as well as fund Boys & Girls Clubs programs across the city.

“By offering these leagues, all of the proceeds go back to the children and we can continue to provide inexpensive before and after-school care for the youth in Southern Nevada”, says Jacoby.  “Please visit one of the locations to register and for more details.”

BGCSNV sports leagues are open to youth ages 5-12 years old. Registration forms, location options and more details are online at www.bgcsnv.org.
