The local plumber who saved three people got his wish of meeting Las Vegas Mayor Carolyn Goodman Tuesday.
Brian Kipperman helped get his neighbor, her sister and her two dogs out of a burning home in July.
The mayor says she's sure it shows how Kipperman has been his whole life.
"We're so lucky he's in our community," Goodman said.
Kipperman told 13 Action News he always seems to find himself in the right place at the right time.
"It's pretty cool to be recognized for helping somebody," he said. "Again, like I said, I didn't do this for any kind of recognition."
