The Nevada Housing Division has received more funding to help create affordable housing in the state.
In an announcement Monday, the housing division got $3 million Monday in federal money.
It is part of an overall $174 million allocated through the National Housing Trust Fund that will go toward a new affordable housing production program.
The housing division intends to use these funds to support the goals highlighted in the Nevada Interagency Council on Homelessness’ strategic plan.
