Southwest Medical Associates adds doctors

Southwest Medical Associates is pleased to announced that they have added several doctors and healthcare providers to their staff.

They are:

Dr. Jeffrey Morton joins Southwest Medical’s Tenaya Health Center (2704 N. Tenaya Way) and specializes in adult medicine. Morton completed his medical training at Southern Illinois University School of Medicine in Carbondale, Illinois and completed his residency in family practice at Methodist Medical Center in Peoria, Illinois.

Dr. Manuel Proenza joins Southwest Medical’s Nellis Health Center (540 N. Nellis Blvd.) and specializes in pediatrics. Proenza completed his medical training at Touro College of Osteopathic Medicine in Henderson, Nevada and completed his residency in pediatrics at Jersey Shore University Medical Center in Neptune, New Jersey. This was followed by a fellowship in pediatric critical care at the University of Iowa Hospital and Clinics in Iowa City, Iowa.

Dr. Alejandro Ramirez joins Southwest Medical’s Nellis Health Center (540 N. Nellis Blvd.) and specializes in adult medicine. Ramirez completed his medical training at Universidad Autonoma de Guadalajara and New York Medical College and completed his residency in internal medicine at New York Medical College - Richmond University Medical Center in Staten Island, New York.

Dr. Michael Saiyasombat joins Southwest Medical’s Rancho/Charleston Health Center (2316 W. Charleston Blvd.) and specializes in adult medicine. Saiyasombat completed his medical training at Loma Linda University School of Medicine in Loma Linda, California and completed his residency in anatomic and clinic pathology at Loma Linda University Medical Center. This was followed by a residency in internal medicine at Kettering Medical Center in Kettering, Ohio.

Laura Lee Wells, APRN joins Southwest Medical’s Lifestyle Center - West (8680 W. Cheyenne Ave.) and specializes in adult medicine. Wells completed her medical training at Beth-El College of Nursing and Health Sciences at the University of Colorado in Colorado Springs.
