Silver State Health Services will receive a federal grant to help patients.
Congresswoman Dina Titus announced that the Department of Health and Human Services will award a $812,500 grant to Silver State Health Services, a local nonprofit community care provider.
The Access Point Grant Award will help an estimated 4,392 patients in Southern Nevada and is part of an effort to improve the health of underserved communities and vulnerable populations. The grant will provide Silver State Health Services and other health care centers across the country with more resources for comprehensive care and access to pharmacies, counseling, and oral health professionals.
