Now that school is out, thousands of young children may have a hard time figuring out where their next meal is coming from.

The Nevada Department of Agriculturesays there are nearly 208,000 children who qualify for free or reduced-price lunch in Clark County.

The NDA is doing their part to help the children get the food they need to survive over the summer by providing students who are 18 and under access to free and nutritious meals while school is out.

There are sites all over the valley that will be offering meals to kids from 8 partners including Three Square Food Bank, Culinary Academy, and CCSD.

This summer, the Nevada Department of Agriculture expects 376,750 meals to be served at 158 sites.

Some of the sites include the YMCA, Sunrise Library, Doolittle Community Center, several churches and more.

Many of these sites may be in your neighborhood, and officials say a lot of meals aren't being consumed due to lack of awareness.
