Station Casinos celebrated 15 years of its Smart Start partnership by donating $10,000 each to different high-need elementary schools.
The extra funds will make sure students have all the supplies they need and not have teachers buying them.
The company also gave $60,000 to Teach for America, Communities in Schools, Nevada Succeeds and After School All Stars.
Smart Start schools include Rex Bell Elementary School, Laura Dearing Elementary School, Ollie Detwiler Elementary School, P.A. Diskin Elementary School, H.P. Fitzgerald Elementary School, Howard E. Hollingsworth Elementary School, C.T. Sewell Elementary School, C.P. Squires Elementary School, Whitney Elementary School and Robert L. Taylor Elementary School.
