DISCOVERY Children's Museum is hosting Pokemon Weekend on Oct. 15-16.
Visitors will be able to participate in hourly drawings to win a $10 iTunes/Android gift card, as well as a Family Four Pack of tickets to the museum.
Children can also create a set of Pikachu ears, craft a Poke Ball sun catcher, and design a Pokemon GO team necklace.
At the Parents Pending Science Bench, guests can learn about the elements used by Bulbasaur, Squirtle, and Charmander through science experiments conducted at 10:30 a.m. and 2 p.m. The bench is also hosting a Pikachu-themed electrical experience at 3:15 p.m.
The museum is home to a myriad of catchable Pokemon and PokeStops. There is also a Pokemon Gym and several PokeStops at Symphony Park nearby.
