Papaya King is rolling back to 1932 this weekend at its new location in Las Vegas.
"Royalty Weekend" is taking place from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. Feb. 11 and 12. During that time, guests can indulge in the magical combination of papaya drinks and frankfurters with the restaurant’s food and drinks promotions including buy two, get one free on Papaya King’s specialty frankfurters and beers, and 32 ounce tropical drinks for 32 cents each.
Papaya King, which got its start in New York City, is a fast casual restaurant concept that specializes in one-of-a-kind franks and tropical drinks. In addition, the restaurant serves crispy curly fries, onion rings, fried pickles, fried Oreos, fried Twinkies, tater tots, knishes, chicken sandwiches and corn dogs.
The original Papaya King opened in 1932 on the corner of 86th St. and Third Ave. on the Upper East Side of Manhattan, and now features three locations in New York City, along with a fourth location in Las Vegas.
