If you are a fan of the WB drama "Gilmore Girls," you know all about Luke's Diner.

It is the place where the citizens of Stars Hollow often go to eat. The characters Lorelai and Rory are particularly fond of the diner and eat burgers and fries there almost daily. It is owned by Luke Danes, who finds feeding people somewhat disgusting. The food is supposedly good but the service can be somewhat hit or miss. However, don't complain. If you do, you might get shown to the door real quick like.

In honor of the "Gilmore Girls" 16th anniversary on Oct. 5, Netflix will be turning approximately 200 coffee shops across the country into Luke's Diner for just one day.

Four local coffee shops will be participating:

Bronze Cafe on Fremont Street
Holley's Cuppa on South Cimarron Road
Sambalatte Torrefazione on South Jones Boulevard
Sambalatte Torrefazione at Boca Park

Employees will wear Luke's-themed T-shirts and apron and there will be coffee cups covered with "Gilmore Girl" quotes and cardboard cut-outs of Luke Danes. Most locations are serving 200 to 250 free cups during the morning hours. Check with individual locations for exact hours and supply.

Also, look for messages under the coffee sleeves. You could win a few months of free Netflix.

"Gilmore Girls: A Year in the Life" premieres on Netflix on Nov. 25.

You can find all the coffee shops listed here.
