Las Vegas BikeFest rides into town next week

Las Vegas BikeFest is back in Downtown Las Vegas on East Fremont Street from Oct. 5 to 8.

The event features hundreds of motorcycles on display, multiple vendors, great food and ice-cold beverages, and live entertainment.

Artistry in Iron features some of the best bike builders in the business. This year's featured builders include Johnny Branch from California, Jordan Dickinson from Minnesota, Chris Eder from Texas, and Gilby from Wisconsin.

The Las Vegas Motorcycle Hall of Fame will induct several new members during a ceremony on Oct. 5. Inductees include Peter Fonda, Arlen Ness, Genevieve Schmitt, and Dave Nichols.

The bike show lineup includes the quick throttle bike show on Oct. 5; custom bike show on Oct. 6; hot bike FXR/Dyna show on Oct. 6; baddest bagger on Oct. 7; and the Las Vegas Ladies Bike Show on Oct. 7.

Entertainment includes The Saints of Las Vegas, Honor Amongst Thieves and U2LV on Oct. 5; Salute to America by Madison Rising on Oct. 6; Another Tangent on Oct. 6; Aces & Eights on Oct. 6; country star Joshua Wade Aigner on Oct. 6; Carver Louis & Old Lincoln Highway on Oct 7; Crash Midnight on Oct. 7; and Uncle Kracker on Oct. 7.

Other events at BikeFest include a poker run to Pioneer Saloon on Oct. 6 and poker walk on Fremont Street. There will also be a tattoo contest, wet t-shirt contest and biker bingo. 

Related events include a pre-bikefest party at Mr. D's on South Rainbow Boulevard on Oct. 4. There will be free pulled pork sandwiches, hamburgers and hot dogs. There will also be some giveaways and live music. The fun begins at 6 p.m.

Hogs & Heifers Saloon on North Third Street will host Rally in the Alley starting Oct. 4. There will a vendor area, free bike parking, live art shows, celebrities and the Giant Hogs Road Show Bar in the middle of Third Street.

BikeFest hours are 3 to 9 p.m. Oct. 5, 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. Friday and Saturday and 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Sunday. 

General admission is $15 per day. Party passes, ultimate passes and VIP passes are also available. Click here for more information.
