Best neighborhoods for trick-or-treating in Las Vegas

Halloween is all about the candy. For kids, at least. And we now know what neighborhoods are the best for trick-or-treating.

Here are the top 5 neighborhoods according to Zillow:

1. Tule Springs (Centennial Hills area)
2. Sun City Summerlin
3. The Lakes
4. Desert Shores
5. Pioneer Park

According to Zillow, these neighborhoods are where kids can get the most candy in the least amount of time in the safest areas.

Overall, Las Vegas is No. 11 of the top 20 cities for trick-or-treating. The top spot went to Philadelphia followed by San Jose, San Francisco, Milwaukee and Los Angeles.

Las Vegas beat out cities like Dallas, San Diego, Chicago, Nashville and Washington, D.C.

Of course, Zillow is just crunching numbers and may not be completely accurate.

Las Vegas is also known for its fabulous Halloween parties at nightclubs up and down the Las Vegas Strip and the festivities in Downtown Las Vegas. There are also several great haunted houses and attractions to visit for the older kids and adults.
