The Clark County Medical Society (CCMS) will announce the 2016 Winged Heart recipients on June 18 at the President's Installation & Awards Ceremony at the Westgate Hotel.
“The Clark County Medical Society Winged Heart Award nurse and nonprofit nominees are tireless champions who express every day how much effort goes into the actions that affect patient care,” said Dr. George Alexander, past CCMS President, who established the Winged Heart Award in 2013. “Each of these individuals has served the community with integrity and honor.”
This year's nursing nominees are Sarah Bussman at HealthCare Partners Medical Group, Krystal Coffman at Spring Valley Hospital, and Mary Martinat at University Medical Center. Non-profit nominees include Baby's Bounty, Jalen's Gift, and Nurse Family Partnership.
