The 41,000 square foot building will house classrooms, lecture rooms, administrative offices, art rooms, and more.

Students, band members, cheerleaders, and student council members will gather on Jan. 3 at 7:30 a.m. for a ribbon cutting ceremony to commemorate the opening.

Built in 1949, Boulder City High School is one of the oldest schools in Clark County. The new building began construction in Jan. 2015 as part of the 1998 Capital Improvement Program
