13 Things To Do This Week In Las Vegas For Nov. 11-17

Here is a list of 13 things to do in Las Vegas for the week of Nov. 11 through 17:

1. Saxophonist and GRAMMY Award nominee Boney James performs Nov. 11 in the Railhead at Boulder Station. James has sold more than 3 million records and been honored with two NAACP Image Award nominations for Best Jazz Album. 

2. Ringo Starr is bringing his all-star band to Reynolds Hall at The Smith Center for the Performing Arts on Nov. 13. Ringo rose to fame as a Beatle and then as a solo artist. He's released 18 solo studio albums and has toured the world with his band.

3. Amy Grant and Michael W. Smith are bringing their Christmas tour to the Grand Garden Arena at MGM Grand on Nov. 12. They will be joined by Jordan Smith, season 9 winner of "The Voice." Each performance is accompanied by a full symphony orchestra.

4. The SunsetPark'd Food Truck event is back for the third year on Nov. 12 at Sunset Park. The family-friendly event will feature more than 30 food trucks, live music and fun for both adults and children. Admission is free. Sponsored by Clark County Parks and Recreation.

5. Cheeburger Cheeburger is hosting its first car show on Nov. 12. There will be classic and custom cars and motorcycles. There will also be live music. Free admission. 

6. Decadence in the Desert is taking place Nov. 12 at Ethel M Chocolates. There will be dozens of artists, plenty of food trucks, free samples of chocolates and live entertainment. Portion of proceeds benefits Opportunity Village. 

7. Remedy's Tavern is celebrating its 8th anniversary on Nov. 12. The Phil Friendly Trio will perform the music of Johnny Cash, Wanda Jackson, Elvis, Jerry Lee Lewis and Buddy Holly. Attendees are encouraged to wear their finest rockabilly fashions. 

8. The Indian National Finals Rodeo concludes Nov. 12 at the South Point. Check out the best equestrian riders and bull riders as they compete is bareback riding, bull riding, steer wrestling, team roping, barrel racing and more. This is the 41st annual rodeo.

9. The Downtown Las Vegas Events Center will be transformed into a sports playground for the Las Vegas Throwdown. There will be more than 40 sports-related vendor booths, a beer tent, food from some of Las Vegas most popular restaurants, live music and more.

10. Singer and songwriter Ms. Lauryn Hill performs Nov. 12 in the Foundry Showroom at SLS Las Vegas. Hill is best known for being a member of the Fugees and her critically acclaimed solo album "The Miseducation of Lauryn Hill." 

11. The American rock band Candlebox from Seattle, Washington, performs Nov. 12 at Suncoast hotel-casino. Since its formation in 1990, the group has released 6 studio albums. Their latest album, "Disappearing from Airports," was released in April.

12. Santa Fe & The Fat City Horns return to The Palms Nov. 14. The band has performed in Las Vegas for 30 years and is a "farm club" for any big acts and shows. They will perform every Monday night.

13. The 17th annual Latin GRAMMY Awards will take place Nov. 17 at T-Mobile Arena. Performers include J Balvin, Los Fabulosos Cadillacs, Diego Torres, Fonesca, Mon Laferte, Manuel Medrano, Jesse & Joy, Gente de Zona, Alexis y Fido, Joss Favela and Wisin. Juanes and the cast of Cirque du Soleil will kick off the award show.
