13 Things To Do This Week For March 18-24

Here is a list of 13 things to do in Las Vegas this week for the week of March 18 to 24:

1. Put on your best costume and head to Wizard World Comic Con this weekend at the Las Vegas Convention Center. There will be costume contests, movie screenings, a film festival, dozens of vendors and a variety of celebrities from television and the big screen.

2. The creators of Chippendales have a new show inside Chateau at Paris Las Vegas. "53X" features dance numbers in the Chippendales tradition featuring four men and four women. It is hosted by Shangela of "RuPaul's Drag Race." Performances are Wednesdays through Sundays.

3. It's Vintage Bike Night again at the Arts Factory in downtown Las Vegas. The event features classic motorcycles, artists and vendors on the patio, and live music by the Megnatones.

4. American rock guitarist, saxophonist and singer-songwriter Eddie Money rose to fame during the '70s. Money has also appeared as himself on several television shows. He performs March 18 at the Golden Nugget.

5. Legendary singer Billy Idol performs with his longtime guitarist Steve Stevens March 18, 19 and 23 at the House of Blues inside Mandalay Bay. The performances are part of a mini-residency through May. Hits include "Rebel Yell," "White Wedding" and "Dancing With Myself."

6. The String Cheese Incident, a jam band known for their commitment to musical creativity and communal spirit, perform March 18 though 20 at the Brooklyn Bowl.

7. Singer Rod Stewart is back on the stage inside The Colosseum inside Caesars Palace. Stewart has been performing more than 5 decades. Hit songs include "Hot Legs," "Forever Young" and "First Cut is the Deepest." Performances begin March 19.

8. The Life Cube Project has returned to downtown Las Vegas. A lighting ceremony and opening day gathering will take place March 19. Live music from 4 p.m. to midnight.

9. Jonathan Butler began is music career at the age of 7 and won a Best New Artist Grammy in South Africa at the age of 12. His music is a mixture of R&B, jazz, gospel and more. He performs March 19 at Aliante hotel-casino.

10. Comedian, award-winning actress, best-selling author and original domestic goddess Roseann Barr performs March 19 at the South Point. The hit show "Roseann" ran for nine seasons and won four EMMY Awards. 

11. Revisit the music of Creedence Clearwater Revival March 19 through 20 at The Orleans. Hit songs include "Suzie Q" and "Proud Mary."

12. Yanni will bring his world-renowned orchestra to Reynolds Hall at The Smith Center for the Performing Arts for one performance featuring reworked classics on March 21.

13. The English rock band New Order, considered one of the most influential bands of the '80s, perform March 21 at The Chelsea inside The Cosmopolitan. New Order became known for their combination of post-punk and electronic dance music.
