UNLVino was cofounded in 1974 by the William F. Harrah College of Hotel Administration and Southern Wine & Spirits of Nevada, the two organizations which continue to sponsor it today.
Over the past four decades, UNLVino has raised several million dollars for scholarships and other academic developmental needs of UNLV students.
Here is a quick overview of the three events:
Bubble-Licious at The Venetian Las Vegas
Thursday, April 14: 7-10 p.m.
This year’s festivities will once again uncork with a variety of champagnes and sparkling wines taking center stage at The Venetian's Doge Palace during Bubble-Licious. A fan-favorite event, Bubble-Licious guests will enjoy small plates from The Venetian and Palazzo’s outstanding collection of restaurants. Tickets are $100 in advance; $125 at the door.
Sake Fever at Red Rock Casino Resort & Spa
Friday, April 15: 7-10 p.m.
East meets West as UNLVino’s Sake Fever hosts a poolside event at Red Rock Casino Resort & Spa. The evening will highlight a variety of sakes, Japanese spirits and cocktails. Cuisine from some of the city’s top restaurants will complement the libations. Tickets are $75 in advance; $100 at the door.
The Grand Tasting at Paris Las Vegas
Saturday, April 16: 7-10 p.m.
UNLVino’s signature Grand Tasting will delight guests with an illustrious display of premium beverages, live entertainment and cuisine from UNLV’s culinary students and celebrated Las Vegas restaurants. Tickets are $100 in advance; $125 at the door
This year’s Dom Pérignon Award of Excellence honorees are: Robert G. Goldstein, President and Chief Operating Officer of Las Vegas Sands Corporation, Brian Massie, Partner at Clique Hospitality and Jan Jones Blackhurst, Executive Vice President of Government Relations and Corporate Responsibility at Caesars Entertainment.
