Several Twitter accounts were hacked on March 15 in what appeared to be an attack on Germany and the Netherlands.
- Hackers changed the background image of several accounts to the Turkish flag, posted swastikas, and called Germany and the Netherlands Nazis
- The tweets appear to support Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan, who recently called the Dutch government "Nazi remnants and fascists."
- Forbes, Starbucks, the University of Chicago, and the Atlanta Police Department were just a few of the many organizations affected by the hack.
