A woman is dead after a rollover crash in North Las Vegas Sunday night.
The crash happened shortly before 6 p.m. on 215 west, just west of North 5th Street. Only a single vehicle was involved in the crash.
Nevada Highway Patrol said a female driver went off the road to the left and overcorrected right over the guardrail. The car then overturned into an aqueduct. She was ejected and pronounced dead on scene. She was the only occupant in the vehicle.
She has been identified as 25-year-old Ashley Lupeheke of Henderson. The coroner said she died of blunt force injuries from the crash.
215 west and east lanes were closed at North 5th Street while the investigation toook place.
