UPDATE AT 5:30 A.M. MARCH 06: Crews were still working Monday morning to fix the 5 power poles that were damaged by winds on Sunday. Road closures are still in effect.

LAS VEGAS (KTNV) -- Police and firefighters shut down Koval Lane between Spring Mountain and Flamingo Road around 5 p.m. Sunday due to three fallen power poles and two other damaged poles.
Officials say that high winds knocked down the poles. NV Energy is working on fixing the issue.
The Clark County Public Works Department is directing traffic near the area. Koval Lane is expected to be closed overnight.
Visitors of the Holiday Inn Resort at 3950 Koval Lane can get to the hotel by taking Sands Avenue, followed by Manhattan Street.
Meanwhile, Las Vegas firefighters are dealing with several other downed power lines around the Las Vegas valley:
