Chicago (KTNV) -- United Airlines said it will honor tickets purchased for a steal, thanks to a company error.

United tweeted last week that after reviewing the circumstances, the bargain fares will stand.

On Thursday, the airline mistakenly offered tickets for $0 to $10 on its website.

Word quickly spread and buyers scooped them up.

United Airlines spotted the error after about two hours and temporarily stopped taking bookings until the problem was fixed.

There's no word on how many cheap tickets were actually sold.
