Washington (KTNV) -- A number of states are beginning to air some creative and even funny ads to encourage Americans to sign up for ObamaCare.

They're trying to get the word out about health care exchanges and they're using some creative advertising campaigns.

In one ad from Minnesota, Paul Bunyan is water-skiing when he has an unfortunate run in with a tree. The tag line: Minnesota, the land of 10,000 reasons to get health insurance.

From Washington state, it's a raccoon jumping out of a trash can hurdling toward a woman. It flies in slow motion while a mischievous little girl taunts her.

One thing all the ads have in common is that they never mention ObamaCare, and they never say the words, Affordable Care Act.

It appears the ad agencies have decided to sell them that way.
