"Top Gun" sequel still a possibility

(KTNV) -- Movie producer Jerry Bruckheimer announced over the weekend that "Top Gun 2" is still a possibility.

Bruckheimer told the crowd that they have been trying to make a sequel for 30 years and "we're not going to stop."

He also said they want Tom Cruise to reprise his role and that Cruise is excited about it.

Cruise is currently working on "Mission: Impossible 5."
