(KTNV) -- As parents, it can be fun to dress up our children in the latest fashion or even wearing matching outfits.

But when does it go to far?

A high-profile actress is facing major backlash over her new line of clothing -- bikinis for little girls.

The advertisement promoting Gwyneth Paltrow's bikini line for girls has some people doing a double take.

Paltrow is selling the bikinis on her website GOOP.

Many say it is just another attempt to make children grow up too quickly. Others say it is sexualizing little kids.

The bikinis come in sizes for girls of four, six and eight.

The bikinis are part of the Melissa Odabash collection for GOOP. The collection also features swimwear and cover-ups for both women and young girls.

The website says the design is perfect for little girls who want to look like their mothers.

The concern for most child advocates is putting children in clothes that are way to old for them and sending them the wrong messages about their bodies.
