Hollywood (KTNV) -- The new song "Accidental Racist" is stirring up controversy for collaborators LL Cool J and Brad Paisley.

It's because of lyrics about race relations, including this reference to slavery:

LL Cool J: If you don't judge my gold chains.
Brad Paisley: But not everything we've done.
LL Cool J: I'll forget the iron chains.

The song is from Paisley's new album "Wheelhouse."

In the song, Paisley and LL Cool J play the parts of a white southerner and a black barista overcoming prejudice, and having a back and forth about everything from fashion to slavery.

The duo said they're glad people are talking about the lyrics because the controversy was intentional.

LL Cool J called the tune a, "Bold statement," while Paisley said on his Twitter feed that he wouldn't change a thing in the album.
