Brockton, MA (KTNV) -- An update on the investigation surrounding the 10-year-old rapper who goes by the name Lil Poopy.

Massachusetts Child Welfare authorities have dropped a complaint filed against the rapper's father.

The state said it has found no evidence of neglect or abuse against the child, Louie Rivera Jr.

Police filed a complaint against the boy's father earlier this year.

It was all over music videos showing Lil Poopy smacking a woman's backside and rapping about drugs.

The young rapper now plans to get back to focusing on what he loves most. "He likes to pursue his dreams. He likes to rap. No one can take that away from him. Nobody," said his father.

The little rapper gained fame after performing with P. Diddy.
