(KTNV) -- A Colorado mother recently punished her kids by sending them to school wearing shirts with their transgressions written on them.
One shirt said "I am disrespectful" and the other said "I steal." The mother calls them "shaming" shirts.
Both of the shirts had definitions of the crime below the message.
But, school officials made the kids cover the shirts up and mom says that the school overstepped its bounds. She said it is up to her to decide what punishment is appropriate for her children.
Jessica Rocha of Fort Morgan says she tried everything from grounding to taking away toys before coming up with the t-shirts.
