Mom & blogger takes heat for saying Victoria's Secret OK for young girls
(KTNV) -- Victoria's Secret and lingerie go together like peanut butter and jelly but you don't often associated the well-known store with knickers for nine-year-old girls.
California mom and blogger Beth Jenny Erikson wrote a blog recently saying that Victoria Secret's new lingerie line is something that all moms should be happy about.
She wrote that even though the "Pink" collection is geared to the collegiate market, no one past puberty can actually fit into the tiny britches.
So, she is fine with the colorful undies for her young daughter saying "No one wants to be the girl at school with the ugly underwear."
Erikson says that Victoria's Secret offers high-quality products, knowledgeable sales people, and cushy changing rooms with lighting that won't make her little girl even more freaked out about her changing body.
Jenny Erikson will offer a little more insight into her highly-talked about opinion coming up on this morning's "Good Morning America."
