More TV means less sperm, according to European study
(KTNV) -- Does watching too much television affect a man's sperm count?
According to a study done in Europe, the answer is yes.
Researchers there gathered a group of college-age guys and had them keep track of how much time they spent watching TV and how much they exercised. And then, they counted their sperm.
Researchers say that men who watched more than 20 hours of TV each week and 44 percent less sperm than men who did not watch TV.
The men with the highest sperm count also ate better including fewer things like pizza, snacks and energy drinks.
But, researchers are not sure how the junk food affects sperm count.
