New Zealand man wants to ban pet cats
Las Vegas, NV (KTNV) -- A New Zealand man wants cats banned as pets in his country, calling them "natural born killers."
Gareth Morgan says that cats are destroying the country's native wildlife.
He's created a website urging pet owners to make their current cat their last.
"That little ball of fluff you own is a natural-born killer," Morgan writes on his website.
The activist and businessman claims cats need to go in order to protect native birds and the environment.
So far, no word on whether lawmakers in New Zealand are considering Morgan's proposal.
