Movie action figures upsetting civil rights leaders
(KTNV) -- Quentin Tarantino's controversial new movie "Django Unchained" is facing a new round of controversy.
Some people are questioning the appropriateness of action figures based on the film.
The movie is a violent revenge fantasy about a freed slave who kills his wife's former master.
Civil rights leaders say the action figures are insulting, trivializing the atrocities of slavery.
They want the film company to stop production of the figures.
The movie is doing brisk business though, earning more than $106 million since it opened on Christmas Day.
