Alabama quarterback's girlfriend steals the spotlight

(KTNV) -- Alabama wons its second straight BCS National Championship last night. This time against Notre Dame.
But it's not the game (which was a total blowout) that everyone is talking about. It is AJ McCarron and his girlfriend -- Miss Alabama winner Katherine Webb.
Apparently, many people became quickly enamored of the beauty queen. Announcer Brent Musburger fawned over Webb during the broadcast.
Webb's Twitter account gained more than 40,000 new followers.
And even a couple of other football players expressed their admiration on Twitter.
McCarron was very quick to respond.
