Elvis Presley's crypt will not be auctioned
LOS ANGELES (AP) -- Elvis Presley fans have spoken: his crypt is hallowed ground.
Julien's Auctions had planned to sell the original tomb where Presley's body was kept until Presley was interred at Graceland in 1977.
Auctioneer Darien Julien says his company pulled the auction after fans demanded it be kept as a shrine to Presley's memory.
