Alexis Davidson Barron planned a destination wedding in Las Vegas. Days before her big day, the mass shooting on the Las Vegas Strip happened.

At first, she didn't know if her ceremony would even happen. "All my friends and family said, 'You know we're coming for you. We're coming to Vegas. Vegas needs this right now,'" said Davidson Barron. Davidson Barron went ahead and got married at the Neon Museum.

The tragedy was on her mind though.

After she walked down the aisle, she decided to give all her flowers to shooting victims and medical professionals. They dropped them off at Sunrise Hospital. For a typical wedding, you can easily spend hundreds, if not thousands of dollars, on flowers alone.

"For a bride to say, 'Here's my bouquet,' I think it means this is who I am. I give it to you," said Myriam Lopez, the florist who designed Davidson Barron's arrangements. When other florists heard about what this bride was doing, they gathered flowers to give to Sunrise Hospital too.
