Valley residents gathering supplies for victims of Harvey
In the wake of all the devastation, there has been amazing acts of kindness from across the country, including right here in Las Vegas.
Las Vegas valley residents are currently gathering supplies for the victims of Harvey at three shops near Blue Diamond and Cimarron.
"I was crushed," said dad Jason Baker.
After watching the news coverage, Baker decided to lead the effort to gather supplies.
He did a post on Facebook, and less than 12 hours later, the donations started pouring in from locals.
Baker is asking for baby clothes, pet food, and other important items.
His goal is to fill up several trucks by the end of the week.
You can drop off donations at Local Realty, Barking Dogs, and Poppy's Frozen Yogurt at the shopping complex on Blue Diamond and Cimarron.
