Reaction after reunion between homeless man and daughter
Las Vegas, NV (KTNV) -- A Las Vegas homeless man is getting to know his daughter again after losing touch with her 24 years ago.
Action News featured the emotional reunion last week on its morning show on Monday. Now, we want to share the reactions of some of those people who were involved in making the reunion possible.
The Las Vegas realtor -- Jim Snyder -- who discovered homeless man Jimmy Francis freezing and hungry on a sidewalk and tracked down his daughter for him says that he never imagined that his kindness would lead to everything that has happened,.
"I don't know what led me to go back and do this but I'm glad that I did because of this. That's what's important. What was the best thing today? Seeing them hugging and crying. That was very special for me," said Snyder after the tear-filled airport reunion.
There was another special guest at Monday's reunion -- Tonya Hallett. She saw the story about Jimmy Francis on Channel 13 and offered to fly his daughter Natalie to Las Vegas because her father is homeless too.
