MAKING LAS VEGAS A BETTER PLACE TO LIVE
Over the Edge for Special Olympcis
Las Vegas, NV (KTNV) -- Want to jump off a building? You can this weekend. People will be going over the edge of Planet Hollywood to raise money for the Special Olympics of Southern Nevada.
Nancy Archambault is one of those people. She says she won't chicken out. "I think this is a great experience in life. To be able to rappel off a hotel in Las Vegas is one of those great things to do in life. And secondly it's for Special Olympics and there is no better cause to raise money and awareness for than Special Olympics."
Caesars Entertainment has hosted this event for 3 years now. Regional President David Hoeneymeyer says it's an event guests love and the hotel is proud to support. Hoeneymeyer says, "We're very excited. We did it off the strip at the Rio the past two years. We've decided to bring the excitement down to the fabulous Las Vegas Strip. It's going to be a great day." If you go over the edge, friends and family are invited to watch poolside at Planet Hollywood. At the time of this posting, there were still ten spots available.
