You might be seeing tarantulas pop up in your neighborhood or even in your yard because it is the end of mating season.
Red Rock Pest Controlsays the male tarantulas are searching for a female tarantula to mate with.
This mostly happens in neighborhoods on the outskirts of town that border the desert.
Tarantulas may look extremely scary, but they aren't after humans.
"They will probably rear up at you at first just because they are pretty high strung but for the most part, you can pick them up," said Dustin Banks with Red Rock Pest Control. "You could let them crawl onto your hand, they're not going to do anything to you."
It is rare to find one of these creepy crawlers in your home.
If you do see one in or around your home, the experts say, just cover it with a cup and slide it on to a piece of paper and release it into the desert.
