As many as 7 stores got broken into Monday morning but no cash was taken, just some food and drinks.

The first two happened around 1 a.m. near Blue Diamond Road and Decatur Boulevard.

In this first case, one manager said he's missing a water and an energy drink. These first two businesses that were hit were also supposed to have a security guard present. The managers did not know where the guard was at the time of the break in.

Police said two people are suspected to be involved.

In addition, thieves broke in to a Jimmy John's near Craig Road and Jones Boulevard. The suspects entered through the drive-thru window by prying it open.

Officers say burglaries were reported between 1 and 5 a.m at several additional locations: Cheyenne Avenue and Jones Boulevard, Sahara Avenue and Torrey Pines Drive, Cimarron Road and Sahara Avenue, Cheyenne Avenue and Buffalo, Decatur Boulevard and Cheyenne Avenue.

It's unknown whether the burglaries are related.

No arrests have been made in any of the burglaries.
